First things first, the essentials. Warmth and order. Warmth is the love and affection you give, quality time, praise, or other ways of conveying affection. Order is related to discipline, correction, and how you deal with the disorder. These two are the factors that help classify the types of parenting:
Authoritarian
As the name suggests, the order is highly emphasised. With little warmth or love, children would most likely be hardened, more mentally strained, and strict.
Authoritative
Don’t mistake this for the previous one, authoritative is the right amount of Order and Warmth. Rewarding order with affection, and conducting discipline with some degree of sympathy.
Permissive
Too much warmth could lead to what we call, spoiled kids. This includes snowplow and helicopter parenting.
Neglectful

Too little of both, and you get the most dangerous type of all, the neglectful parents. This is the absolute worst because the child doesn’t get the mental background and foundation they need in their early years.
Authoritative is still the best one 😉
